What is the difference between a metal saw blade and an alloy saw blade?

The difference between the two is that the material cut is not the same. Metal saw blades are generally used to cut ferrous metals such as low carbon steel, medium carbon steel, high carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy steel, bearing steel, etc.; The aluminum alloy saw blade mainly cuts aluminum alloy profiles, aluminum pipes, aluminum rods, door and window materials, radiators, copper and other non-ferrous metals.

The specifications of the saw blades are different. The former generally uses high-speed hacksaw blades (BW teeth) or ceramic cold saws (the angle and tooth shape of the knife head are special). The latter uses an aluminum cutting blade (BT tooth). In addition, the tooth shape and number of teeth selection are far from the same.

The equipment used by the two is not the same. Metal saw blades are generally used in pipe cutting machines, cold saw machines, etc., and the speed of the equipment is relatively low. The aluminum alloy saw blade is generally used in fully automatic, semi-automatic aluminum cutting equipment or push table saw, and the speed of the equipment is relatively high.

The aperture of the saw blade is different. The aperture of the saw blade for cutting metal is 32mm or 40mm for conventional size, while the aperture of the aluminum alloy saw blade is 25.4mm or 30mm. Of course, non-standard customization can also be carried out according to the actual use case.
